Skylark Music is proud to release Classic Borealis, the
quartet's first commercial recording. Recorded in the acoustical
perfection of the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts, Classic
Borealis features the quartet in classic quartets by Beethoven,
Mendelssohn and Schubert. If you've seen the Borealis String
Quartet in any of their CBC TV performances or heard them
in one of their many live performances, you know that this will
be one of the most electrifying chamber music releases of 2003.
The Borealis String Quartet has also released a video from
Bravo! Television featuring the Allegro Molto from Beethoven's
Opus 59, No. 3 (track 9).
